With the Leominster Festival about to start its annual programme, Swan Brewery is joining in the activities with its monthly Tasting Day. On Friday 8th June starting at 9am – for those thirsty early birds – until 9pm, the Swan Brewery team will open its doors to welcome beer lovers and beer-curious people in.

For the focus beer on a tasting day, everyone is offered a half on the house with the idea that people get to know Swan Brewery ales better. Head Brewer Jimmy Swan has been brewing thousands of pints every week for the past two years over on the Enterprise Park on the south side of Leominster, a stone’s throw from the police station. If the Enterprise Park is not a part of town you’ve needed to go before you’ll be surprised at the number of businesses that are there that work directly with the public.

New brew Lemner Ore, a 4.1% deep golden ale.

With Leominster Festival in mind, Jimmy has brewed Lemner Ore, a 4.1% deep golden ale and this will be flowing plentifully on Friday.

If you’d like the chance to win a 9 pint mini cask of Lemner Ore, head over to the Swan Brewery Facebook Page.

Also on the pumps will be Arm Breaker IPA – a rare tap room outing for this 6% quintessential English IPA, so called because swans “can break a man’s arm you know”.

From 4.30pm Toads Mill Kitchen will be on site too with their pizza trailer.

Other dates for summer tasting days are already in the diary: 6th July, 10th August, 7th September, with the focus beer details released 3 weeks in advance.

If you can’t make it over for a tasting day, try any Friday 9am to 2.30pm.
