It’s that time of year again! Staff and volunteers at Shypp, will spend a night sleeping rough on the streets of Hereford alongside a number of members of the public who have volunteered to take part to raise money for young people in Herefordshire.

Shypp is an award winning project that aims to homeless young people to dream more and become more.

The team of sleepers have so far raised over £4,000 with plenty more expected to be raised before and after the event.

Our very own reporter Stefan took part in last years event and believes Shypp plays a big role in turning young people’s lives around in Herefordshire.

He said, “I took part in the Shypp Sleep Out in 2017 because I felt that sometimes I was one that had everything but always moaned! I can assure you that since the event I admire anybody who has faced struggles in their life and been forced onto the streets. It certainly opened my eyes.”
