Two Hereford based arts charities, The Courtyard and The Music Pool, are joining forces this week for a rip-roaring, toe-tapping fundraising concert celebrating the passion and glory of brass music, sponsored by Heineken.
Audiences can expect a great mix of traditional and modern numbers to entertain both long-time fans and those new to the world of brass, as well as solo spots from some of Herefordshire’s most talented youngsters.

The internationally renowned Bedwas, Thethomas and Machen Band, twice-named âChampion Bandâ by Radio Wales, will be performing on the evening of the 9th June along with some rather more local faces.
Joining BTM Band will be Ledbury Community Brass Band, who were runner-up at the world famous Wychavon Festival of Brass in 2017, and Herefordshire Youth Brass Band (part of Encore Enterprises CIC) who bring together young brass players from across the county to perform a wide range of musical genres.
“Best of Brass” will be in The Courtyardâs Main House on Saturday 9th June at 7.30pm with profits split between the two charities to support their work in the Herefordshire community.
