Roadworks are set to begin on Wednesday 21st November to improve Trumpet crossroads.
Work will be carried out in two stages (red and orange sites). See map below for detail. Work will be carried out between 9am-5pm on weekdays. No weekend working.
Work is set to end on Tuesday 27th November.
Work is planned to start on site 1 (red lline) on the A438 (Ledbury side of crossroads).
The A438 will be closed while the work takes place but the turn for the A417 heading towards Newtown Crossroads and the A4172 towards Gloucester will be open. An update will be released when work switched to Site 2.
After site 1, work will begin on the A4172 approach to crossroads including a section of the A438 running into junction (orange on map). There’s no through access on the A4172 but 3-way traffic lights for the A438 (both ways) and the A417 towards Newtown Crossroads. Three directions open, but delays are inevitable.
