The Green Dragon Hotel in Hereford is set to see major investment after being purchased by a local family.
Julian Vaughan has purchased the hotel with aims to restore it to its former glory.
Julian, a former commercial director of Journey, a leading hotel branding and marketing company already has local interest with him and his wife owning and transforming Dewsall Court into a top class wedding and events venue.
The plans will be welcomed by many as the proud hotel has started to look past its best for a number of years.
The work is expected to get underway this winter.
