Swedish giant IKEA is set to open a store in Hereford. If plans are approved, the store will be located on Three Elms Road, next to Whitecross School.
The firm are said to have set their sights on Hereford thanks to a local connection; IKEA spokesperson Jamie O’Rourke confirms that Hereford is the ideal place for the company to reach new customers, ‘Hereford is a great opportunity for us with its great transport links, good traffic flow and excellent footfall, we can’t wait to open a store here.’
The Swedish-founded multinational group designs and sells ready-to-assemble furniture, kitchen appliances and home accessories, among other useful goods and occasionally home services.
