Parts of Herefordshire woke up to a blanket of snow this morning. It comes as somewhat of a surprise after the recent unseasonably mild weather we have seen.

The worst affected parts of the county were Kington, Bromyard and the Welsh Border areas with areas like Hereford and Leominster seeing very little apart from a couple of hours of heavy snow which failed to accumulate to much.

Many routes were unaffected but the A4103 was briefly covered by snow at the top of Fromes Hill.
