Hereford FC 1-3 FC United of Manchester

If Hereford supporters needed any reminding that the team is in a relegation scrap – today certainly did that.

The worrying thing for Bulls fans is that the current squad looks clueless, out of its depth and lacking a goalscoring threat.

FC United, who before today’s match found themselves below the Bulls, simply won’t get an easier three points this season. The away side took the lead when Thomas Peers prodded the ball home from close range. The  away side certainly deserved the lead after missing a host of chances prior to the opening goal.

The afternoon then quickly got worse for the Bulls when captain Harvey Smith put the ball into his own net from close range before Kurt Willoughby added a third after a poor clearance from the Bulls keeper.

James Roberts scored a consolation late on for the Bulls but the signs are worrying. Roberts and Harris certainly have their work cut out with the result putting Hereford into the relegation zone.
